Resuscitation of an unconscious, non breathing baby

In this video I demonstrate how to perform emergency care on an unconscious, non breathing baby. This is a demonstration video only.

Check to see if the baby is breathing by looking and feeling.

CALL AN AMBULANCE

5 rescue breaths, tilt head back, cover baby's mouth and nose with your mouth. You should see the chest rise.

30 chest compressions. Use 2 fingers and press firmly in the middle of the baby's chest.

Continue with 2 RESCUE BREATHS to 30 CHEST COMPRESSIONS until the ambulance arrives.
